Leroy Neiman Signed Les Folies Bergere Poster (1986). Leroy Neiman is perhaps the most well known painter and print maker in America. He is one of the few artists of the 20th century whose name is known to millions of Americans. Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Neiman studied at the School of Art Institute of Chicago. He then taught there for ten years before moving to New York City in 1962. Neiman has specialized in images based on contemporary leisure, spotlighting the pastimes and places people enjoy, particularly in the fields of sports and entertainment. This poster of les Folies Bergere was produced for the Las Vegas Tropicana resort. The poster has an image area of 21" x 28", and is in Mint/Excellent condition. Leroy Neiman inscribed and signed the poster.
